Why nothing on the web answers it

Searching for this returns advice on how to find a social worker, or how to apply for a job as one. The question is a different one: someone about to commit to the training wants to hear from people who did it and left, and from people who did it and stayed, and to understand what separated them.

Who could

Anyone who qualified as a social worker in the UK and left within a few years, and anyone who stayed and can say why.

What they would be asked

• What made you leave, and when did you know?
• What did you do afterwards, and was the training wasted?
• What kept the people who stayed?
• What would you say to someone applying now?
